Dr. Winfield Bevins | Founder & Executive Director

In 2022, the Lord gave Winfield Bevins a vision for starting Creo Arts as a nonprofit ministry that would bring beauty to the world through the arts. After a season of prayer and discernment, Winfield formed a board of directors and officially started Creo Arts as a registered 501(c)(3). In 2023, Creo Arts was birthed out of Asbury University’s “Outpouring,” which drew an estimated 50-70,000 visitors to the small town of Wilmore, Kentucky. Since that time, Creo has impacted artists, patrons, churches, and organizations in 15 states and 3 countries.

In 2024, Creo Arts hired additional staff and opened a downtown art gallery as a hub of operations. Creo Arts is honored to have a special partnership with The Creative Arts Collective at Belmont University and the Lilly Endowment Inc. to invest in projects and programs that create and curate art, educate and nurture the Christian imagination, and cultivate and sustain a thriving network in Christianity and the arts
